Törggelen
The Törggele period begins in autumn, from the middle of September. 1 x week we take you on a culinary Törggel trip in our Rier cellar. Also in the centre of Chiusa the Törggele period is real celebration, with the typical street Törggelen“.

Fun at the hut
Once a week in summer (except August) join Thomas and Konrad and hike up to our alpine hut, where a rich snack with cold cuts is waiting for you and Konrad will give the best of himself: making music! Our private hut is located in Laion and you can reach it with a 1.5-hour hike from the Rierhof. The return hike can be arranged individually by each guest, on one of the many hiking trails to Chiusa.
Malga Villandro
It is one of the most beautiful and largest high mountain pastures in South Tyrol, it offers a unique panoramic view of the Alpe di Siusi, the Sciliar range, the Odle group and other mountain giants. Alpine huts invite you to stop for a break and hiking trails invite you to marvel and experience.
Hiking tip: To the Villandro Hut and to the small church del Morto.

Nature reserve Puez-Odle in Funes
It is not by chance that the nickname of the park is also "the History Book of the Earth" - after all, here you can find all types of Dolomite rocks, species-rich flower meadows and animals that have become rare, such as the eagle owl or wood grouse. Especially breathtaking: the Odle Mountains!

Latzfons hut and Latzfons cross
The Latzfons cross stands at 2,311 m above sea level, together with the refuge and the small pilgrimage church (2,311 m) and is considered the highest sanctuary in South Tyrol. The path that leads to the cross is the oldest pilgrimage path in South Tyrol. Starting from the refuge you can still reach the San Cassiano Peak (2581 m).

Exploring the Lower Isarco Valley & Bolzano
What better way to explore the area than with a sightseeing tour on two wheels? The path leads through the vineyards of Bolzano, to Collalbo, over the Renon plateau, passing the earth pyramids in Renon and then back to the Rierhof through the chestnut path of Barbiano.
